KLBC Music Department seeks to enhance our congregation’s worship experience through music. In other words it is a ministry through music. Music Ministry thus is our doxology to God which comes out as a genuine heart of worship to God, and also to edify one another as fellow believers.
Some of the yearly events are like Music Seminar or Music camp, Choir intensive training, Hymn festival, Christmas cantatas and many more.
Sanctuary Choir
It consist of young group of individuals mostly college students or youths. It serves as our service choir each Sunday. The main objective of this choir is to encourage the youth to develop and share their talents with each other and to our church. We focus not just on how to sing but how to lead worship with our singing.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Fridays at 4.30pm – 6.30pm (Summer) & 4.00pm – 6.00pm (Winter) at the JMH
Adult Choir (Chancel Choir)
A group of young adults and are a member of the Bridge Club KLBC. This singing group was formed in order to encourage the young adults who were then a choir member to continue to use their God given gifts in the church singing ministry. This choir supports the Sanctuary Choir from time to time, and also perform occasionally.
Rehearsals: Every 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays at 1.30 Pm – 3.00 Pm at JMH
Children’s Choir
This Choir will be formed annually for childrens of the age group of 8-14 years. These kids will be involved in the singing ministry on Sundays, they will be taught songs of faith and will be helped to develop their musical leadership in worship.
Kids will need to audition as a requirement to join the choir.
Rehearsals: Saturdays 1.00 pm – 2.30 pm at JMH
