KLBC Youth comprise of young teens and young adult. The purpose of the youth ministry is to prepare the youth for effective ministry to college students and young adults within the context of a local Church. Youth ministry is the Church’s efforts to help each and every young person grow personally and spiritually. We seek to help youth share their gifts, grow in life skills, develop a positive self-image, develop a personal spirituality and prayer life, given young people a chance to participate in the Church life, discover new friendships and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
Youth Department consist of Youth Director, Associate Youth Director, youth Evangelists, Executives, Zonal Office Bearers and Praise team.
Yearly Events are youth Camp, Youth Sports evangelism, crossteen retreat, musical night, seminar on social issues, youth literary day, Friendship Sunday, Youth Outreach ministry, youth Advent Pre-Christmas program and many more.
CrossTeen
A group of young teens fresh graduate of Sunday school and mostly Higher Secondary Students or youth. The main objective is to enable our young people to develop and grow a personal relationship with Jesus. This is achieved by inviting and encouraging them to become active members of our church through age-appropriate activities and ministries. We give opportunities to discover and share their gifts. Remembering that they are gifted to serve God always, we are committed to bringing their gifts forward by encouraging them.
All young teens are welcome to participate in any or all events. For the latest programs and upcoming opportunities contact the youth Department incharge.
Yearly events are crossteen retreat and special crossteen follow up program
Praise and Worship
The worship of God is non-negotiable. God design His church to worship. For our Worship to honour God rightly, we must invest our time, talent, and treasures. If God has given you a talent or Ability that could be used to bless our worship ministry, we want you. We can use your skills as a vocalist and instrumentalist. You provide the talent, we will provide the training, and together we can enjoy the satisfaction that comes from using the gifts God has given to us to honour Him and bless our Church.
Rehearsal: Every Thursday at 2:30 pm our worship team/band meet for practice at Main Church.
Insightnow Magazine
Insightnow is published every two months by the Kohima Lotha Baptist Church Youth Department. Our focus is to reach out each individual staying far and near. Youth Service Schedule
Zonal service, Sunday afternoon- Join us 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday afternoon 3:30pm Sector Churches. We continue our journey through the Gospel service.
Combine service, Saturday afternoon- Join us 2nd and 4th Saturday afternoon 3:30pm main Church. We have excellent time of fellowship and Spiritual growth for our youth. Worship band led into worship and have a gospel-centred message. We are looking for a youth group to get plugged in to.
